I wasn’t always a believer in breaking barriers and changing beliefs. I was a product of the rigid societal-definition of what success should be. The importance of education and how the next step is to climb the career ladder was drilled into me as I grew.
I ticked all those boxes by furthering my education and working for some of the biggest companies in the world. But as some people defined my life as successful, I felt these beliefs and expectations weigh on me like a 10-pound ball.
After years of transformation, I am now fully aware of my alignment. My first language tutoring venture was born three years ago, after my third child's birth. After launching my business in 2018, I had more than 100 customers in 3 months. I am now at a point where I have several teachers working with me.
